Here’s step by step help, right

Prospecting
For Clients in the 21st Century
Dear
Chix,
I
recently attended a popular copywriting seminar full of
anticipation and hope for the future. While there, I felt
supercharged with energy and determination to make my dream
come true of being a freelance writer.
I
came home and got to work. I knew I needed to write a great
prospecting letter to send out to potential clients. I
thought for sure there would be some great samples in all of
the written material I’d received at my seminar.
Boy
was I wrong!
I
contacted the seminar directors who told me there were
several good coaches that could help me with my
letter. In
fact, they had their own coaching program and could set me
up with someone who could walk me through writing my first
prospect letter.
Here’s the kick in the pants:
That coaching was going to cost me $500 a month with a six month
commitment.
I
didn't want to spend six months writing a
letter. And
I certainly didn't want to spend $3,000 for a 1-2 page
document. I
felt deflated and lost.

Freelance copy writers -- while there used
to be very little competition -- are now flooding the market
with promises of earning six figures in six months. It’s

become a great copywriter.

None of these
“copywriter’s tools” tell you the most important thing you
need to know in order to have a successful freelance
writing career: how to find good client’s in the
21st century. And not spend a month’s
paycheck to do it!
Here at the 3 Chix we get 2 questions over
and over again:
- How you find great clients?
- And how do you keep great
clients?
The second question has an easy answer: be
easy to work with, write great copy, rinse and repeat.
The first question is the one many people
stumble on. But
you don’t have to worry about that much longer, because you
can…
